Hi Hello there,
Well it came and went quicker than Gumby on his new Harley. Xmas in July.
A special thanks to all who gave a little of their time to organize the tucker side of things.
Due to the rodeo being held at Canungra we decided to move our event down the Lions rd. Rathdowney to Drynan camp area, a scenic spot with good area for vans & tents.
Friday night was raining but Saturday saw the sun sneak out, the event was under way.
Fires lit, drinks poured and that was before breakfast. The rest of the crew arrived mid morning and all settled down to a lazy relaxing day getting rid of the city blues.
As per usual Santa arrived that evening and distributed joy and gifts to all the naughty people in attendance.
Santa Gumby is one of the good guys that you meet occasionally. He rides with The Saints CMC and he had already put in a full day before hooking up his van and heading down to Rathdowney. He certainly put a smile on the women?s faces with his antics and banter. Thank you Gumby for your support, it is appreciated.
A mega feast was served pot roast meats and veggies, damper with golden syrup followed by fruit pudding with all the decadent trimmings.
Camp fires stoked up, glass of church block in hand, looking up to the heavens all the stars shining and good company sitting around, good to be alive.
Take care, Macca
